6 Predictions for Digital Advertising in 2011
Over at mashable there is a short but great article on digital advertising in 2011 by Jesse Thomas. It talks about how local advertising becomes relevant again, who will be the new online-celebrities or why Facebook-likes going to be important for brands. While I’m not necessarily need to know whether Silicon Valley will be the next Madison Avenue or not I think overall it pretty nicely sums up whats going to happen and gives some food for thought on how to tackle communication in the future. It also includes a great presentation video titled ‘Kraft Foods: How Oreo Learned to Fish Where the Fish Are’ presented by Beth Reilly. Just skip the first 50 seconds or so because thats just advertsising (ha!).
