Until recently you – like most people – probably would have tripped on your way up when exiting New York City’s Sunset Park 36th Street subway station. This caught the attention of Brooklyn-based filmmaker Dean Peterson who than found out the reason: The 10th step was a fraction of an inch taller than the other steps. As a filmmaker he made a charming video about it but more than that I just love the odd story:
Apparently the MTA New York City Transit has closed off the stairs and is repairing them as I’m writing this.
