When was the last time you were truly blown away by visuals on 15″ notebook screen?
Try this: Director and cinematographer Ron Fricke is probably best know for his 1982 movie Koyaanisqatsi and Baraka in 1992. Now, after nearly 20 years he is back with Samsara. It’s again a movie without any dialogue or text shot purely and beautifully on 70mm film and if the trailer is any indication this is going to be sooo visually breathtaking. To quote one comment on vimeo: This film is an absolute masterpiece. Quit your job and crawl over broken glass for 600 miles if that’s what it takes to see SAMSARA in a theater! Nuff said.
